My first public installation!
Mural for St James, my large-scale linocut originally made at the Trinity Buoy Wharf residency in February 2017, and runner-up in the Fine Art category for this year's Batsford Prize - is being installed on June 1st.
With thanks to London Overground for facilitating and London Borough of Waltham Forest for part-funding - the mural has been transferred onto aluminium panels for the community to enjoy.
500 matching 'mural' travel card holders will be available at the 10 London Overground stations in Waltham Forest. Chingford, Highams Park, Wood Street, Walthamstow Central, St James Street, Clapton, Hackney Downs, Leyton Midland and Leytonstone High Road - 50 will be placed at each. Grab one if you can. Tag me on FB farah ishaq artist and Instagram ifarahe17 if you find one!
